Payment Policy

The store's transaction currency is United States dollars (USD), including checkout totals at barebells.

Customer journey index — Transaction scope

The policy arranges store standards around selection, payment, shipment, return, and support. It covers USD pricing, live-checkout card options, issuer authorization, fraud review, taxes, holds, and original-method refunds. This page applies specifically to barebells and its selection of protein bars, protein milk drinks, flavored snacks, multipacks, and assorted high-protein treats.

Credit and debit card options

Supported card networks are Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover, subject to the options actually displayed at checkout and approval by the issuer. We do not promise an installment plan, cryptocurrency, digital wallet, or other method unless the live checkout offers it.

How card information is handled

Shopify and the applicable payment providers handle payment information. We use reasonable safeguards and do not ask customers to email complete card details, but no electronic payment or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Authorization is not shipment

The issuer or payment provider may approve, decline, or hold a transaction. We may use reasonable fraud screening, address verification, and confirmation requests. Authorization confirms neither acceptance nor shipment of an order.

Troubleshooting checkout

If checkout is declined, verify the card number, expiration, security code, billing address, funds, and issuer restrictions. A bank may show a temporary authorization for an incomplete order; the issuer controls when that hold is released.

USD total, tax, and refund route

The full order total is shown before submission. Taxes are collected when required by applicable law. An approved refund is sent to the original payment method under the Refund Policy and usually posts 5–10 business days after issuance, depending on the financial institution.
